This Thursday Vicente Del Bosque, in an event held at the Santander Work Café, presented the twelfth edition of the summer camp organized by the Vicente Del Bosque Football Academy and as a novelty the First edition of the Mallorca International Cup, to be held in Mallorca from June 28 to July 2, which takes over from the local tournament Vicente Del Bosque First Mallorca Cup, which was held between 2015 and 2019.
This summer the campuses will be held in Madrid from June 27 to July 29, in Mallorca from June 27 to August 12, in three locations, in Cadiz from July 11 to August 12, in Estepona (Malaga) from July 18 to 29 and in Calanda (Teruel) from July 11 to 15.
This presentation was attended by the Mayor of Madrid José Luis Martínez-Almeida, other authorities, sponsors and collaborators, as well as special guests such as Iker Casillas, Fernando Morientes, Enrique Cerezo, Juanfran Torres and José Antonio Camacho.
“The goal is not to make professional players, this is very difficult and we have to be realistic with the kids. The dream is for him to be a good kid and that can be achieved through sport”, explained Vicente Del Bosque, who added “these initiatives are positive things because the educational power of soccer is so fantastic that we must take advantage of it”.
